Drag the window so you can see both it and the icon for the font you are installing. If you have dual monitors, it may be helpful to drag the font window onto the other monitor.

Click once on the font on your desktop, then drag and drop it anywhere in the main Font window. A progress bar may briefly appear, showing that the font is copying.

Click the 'Back' button on the window, and then click the 'Forward' button. This reshuffles the fonts back into alphabetical order. Scroll to your font to ensure it is installed. If desired, drag the font off your desktop and into the recycle bin.

Reopen Photoshop CS3. Click the “T” icon and scroll through the font list again, which is now alphabetized, to view your font.

Tips

• You can bulk-add fonts to Photoshop as well. After you’ve downloaded or dragged the fonts to your desktop, press and hold down the “Ctrl” key while clicking on the fonts to highlight their icons. Drag the entire highlighted block and drop it into the Fonts window.
• You do not have to open a Photoshop document or graphic to install fonts to Photoshop.
